More Records!

Got some more lps, so here they are:
  1. Andaz
  2. Amne Samne - Gate fold cover with a really cool picture of Mithun inside smoking.
  3. Carvan
  4. Charanjit Singh's Instrumental Songs
  5. Dada - Has two awesome songs on this one "Dil Ke Tukde Tukde" and "Gaddi Jandi Aaye"
  6. Dafaa 302 - Ok album with nothing much to offer besides the one song "Aap Kya Lenge"
  7. Darling Darling - The songs on the cover and LP don't match, on the LP they are in a different order from the one listed on the cover and on a cover they forgot to write down one of the songs.
  8. Deewaangee - Don't like this album, plan to sell it.
  9. Des Pardes - Don't like this album either, none of the songs do it for me.
  10. Dhongee - Love the cover, passed up on it the first time and then went back to switch it with another record and really glad I did, cuz It has some cool song s in it. My favorite is "One Two Three"
  11. Dil Aur Deewaar - very risque picture on this cover its of a African woman that is nude from the waist up with Prem Chopra standing in front of it.
  12. Do Raaste - I was surprised when I put this one on because on the vinyl the music is overpowered by the vocals. And in the movie I don't remember it being like that.
  13. Duniya Meri Jeb Mein - Good record to listen to a few times.
  14. Dushmun - Way to much dialogue in this LP, it has only four songs that aren't quite long so they use the dialogue has filler, its really annoying cuz it takes sooo long to get to the actual song.
  15. Film Hits 1974 - If anyone gets there hands on this one they shouldn't let it go cuz the pictures on this are too good to pass up. This album has very vibrant pictures on it which are very rare and unseen.
  16. Ganwaar - Got really cheap so I cant complain about it.
  17. Khandaan - Only like one song the rest are too slow for me.
  18. Parchiyiaan - Probably haven't heard this one but its really good, I got it for the cover alone (no pic in collage) which is a bright hot pink and the songs are good too. This was the first album in which R.D. Burman did the music for a full Punjabi song.
  19. Parvarish - Really cool sleeve in this one which is more like two posters because its two sheets of paper with pictures on both sides, so four pictures in total.
  20. Purab Aur Pachchim - the single one but I so badly want the double one!
  21. Pyar Hi Pyar - Pakistani pressing
  22. Rafoo Chakkar - Malaysian pressing
  23. Sawan Badon - Covers in really bad condition for this one, its from India.
  24. Sweeet Melodies - This one was a let down, I thought it would have some cool funky tracks but instead it had very slow sad types of songs.
  25. Teesri Manzil - Awesome score, but then again everyone already knew that.

I havent bought any of the records listed here from ebay. I live in Surrey B.C., which is very heavliy popluated with the Indian community, so some I have gotten from thrift stores, some through family members and some from video shops. But at the same time i must tell you that its really, really hard to find them. Most people have thrown away there records and some of them arent willing to part with them. The most I have paid for a record here is $10 and the least has been free!
And yes I have finished watching the documentary and I absolutley loved it! Like honestly I cant explain to you how much i enjoyed it, again thank you so so much for sharing that with everybody. On a side note have you ever heard about or seen the documentary on Dharmendra? It was called 'Hamra Dharam' and I think it came out sometime in the late 70's. A little clip was shown on the show 'Dus Ka Dum' when Bobby Deol came on it with Priyanka Chopra.
